6" Ruston SD Steam Tractor

This newly finished model is the work of two very skilled and experienced model engineers.

Based on a small prototype the engine comes out comparable in size to a large 4" Traction Engine however has a somewhat chunkier feel to it all and sits a bit taller.

This is the first Ruston SD we have had in and I can see why they are such a popular engine. On the road the engine had a good turn of speed in top gear and proved a free steaming engine.
