4" Burrell Traction Engine and Trailer

On behalf of the owner we are pleased to offer for sale this stunning 4" Burrell and Traction Trailer combination, this engine was professionally finished by ourselves and was completed earlier this year. It is presented virtually "as new" having only been steamed around our yard on a handful of occasions.

A Steam Traction World engine the owner started the build a number of years ago, it came to us last year for completion and as the engine needed painting anyway the decision was made to strip it right back to ensure everything was done to the standard of one of our own builds. Paintwork has been done in high quality 2K paints matched to original colours and the attractive lining scheme was professionally done by Stuart Duncumb.

The Trailer is also from Steam Traction World, this came to use built but unpainted so again has been gone through by us completely. Wood work has been done in Yacht varnish to ensure an attractive and hard wearing finish and metal parts and wheels done in the matching paint scheme to the engine.

As you would expect the boiler is in as new condition, it had a full hydraulic and steam test by an independent boiler inspector on completion so is ready to rally and enjoy. Water feed is through the standard arrangement of water pump and steam injector.

The Burrell is road registered and comes with all the normal paraphernalia, tube brush, firing irons, coal, oil and a days tuition included if required. We would be happy to consider part exchange of all steam and vintage vehicles. Also available by separate negotiation is a 8x5 box trailer for transport.
