4" Burrell STW Showmans

On behalf of the owners we are pleased to offer for sale this well built and proven 4” Burrell Scenic Showmans engine. After recently receiving a top end overhaul and thorough 10 year inspection with hydraulic test the engine is ready to rally and enjoy.

Built from Steam Traction World kits around 11 years ago this engine will be recognisable to many as appears heavily on the company’s website. Since completion the engine has been kept in good condition and recently had work to the valve gear to ensure smooth and powerful performance. The engine runs particularly well and performs very well when generating.

The boiler has recently had a full 10 year inspection by an independent boiler inspector and is reported to be in excellent condition throughout. Water feed is through crankshaft driven pump and steam injector.
The engine comes ready to rally with a full set of firing irons, coal, oil and a days tuition included. Where possible we would be happy to help with part exchanges. For further information or to arrange a viewing please do not hesitate to contact us.
