4" Burrell Rally Outfit

We are pleased to offer for sale this complete 4” Burrell and Traction Trailer rally outfit, the engine will be recognisable to quite a few as it was often shown in steam on the Steam Traction World stand at events.

We are big fans of the Steam Traction World products, when put together correctly they make very capable engines and when steaming the 4” Burrell its clear to see why it has become so popular for both the original builders and subsequent owners. For future maintenance its is good to know that Steam Traction World carry a comprehensive range of spare parts.

The owner of the engine has decided to retire from the hobby as such the engine comes complete with some lovely accessories like the lamps and also a trailer full of bits and pieces that have been built up over the years.

The engine is now due a 10 year inspection and hydraulic test which we will be arranging with an independent boiler inspector shortly. As such she will be sold with fully tested and ready to rally with a thorough inspection for the new owners peace of mind. As is the standard arrangement the boiler is fed by crankshaft driven pump and steam injector.

Overall, this well sorted engine and trailer outfit offers the new owner a great way to get into the hobby and have literally everything could want to enjoy miniature engine ownership. However, we are also happy to split the engine (£16,000) and trailer (£2500) if required.
