On behalf of the owner we are pleased to offer for sale this 4.5 " Foden Project. At first glance it might not look like much but when you start adding up the costs and hours there is a surprising amount here including an un-steamed AJB, CE Marked boiler. The pictures will confirm but included:
- Boiler (150psi working pressure)
- Hornplates
- Fully machined crankshaft
- Smokebox and chimney assembly
- Full set of machined gears and drive chain
- Chassis rails
- Set of cast wheels with vulcanised tyres
- Complete rear axle assembly
- Castings: cylinder block (double high), trunk guides, slide valves, valve chest covers, front axle eccentrics, chimney cowl, piston covers
- Steel blank for flywheel
- manstand fabrication
As you can see from the pictures many of the parts are covered in surface rust, this is just that and rubs off quite easily there is no heavy pitting.
