4" Burrell SCC. Brand New!

We are fortunate to get some very nice engines through the door here at Legacy and every now and again something stands out as being exceptionally good, such is the case with this stunning and meticulously built example of the Steam Traction World Burrell Single Crank Compound Road Loco. The work of a retired engineer, their years of experience and attention to detail culminates in quite simply one of the finest finished STW engines we have had in.

The engine is advertised in Brand New condition, the boiler hasn't even seen water yet! The paint work is to a professional standard, on first sight I assumed it was sprayed but it is in fact hand painted using Craftmaster coach enamels. The top works and much of the metal work has been nickel plated which not only gives an attractive finish but also functional as much easier to keep clean and rust free than polished steel.

Although currently un-steamed we would be happy to discuss commissioning and boiler testing options with buyers so the engine can come fully ticketed and ready to rally. As always though with any new build engine we do add the caveat that (despite how good the build is) there will be a period of settling in and tinkering required.
