4" Burrell SCC - Recently finished

We are pleased to offer for sale this well built and presented 4" Burrell SCC, built from Steam Traction World kits the engine only entered service last year and has seen minimal use since as such is in virtually new condition.

The Single Crank Compound is an excellent engine for use on the rally-field and road runs, with the weight of the larger cylinder block and belly tanks up front it means drivers can sit on the back without the risk of popping a wheelie. Full up with water the tender and belly tanks will give you enough water supply for virtually a full day rallying negating the need for spare water on a trailer or water cart behind.

As with all the STW engines this one steams freely and, being built properly, has buckets of power. The boiler is water fed through crank driven pump and steam injector, boiler testing has been conducted by an independent commercial inspector.

The engine is supplied ready to rally with firing irons, extension chimney, coal, oil and a days tuition included if required. Where possible we are happy to consider all steam and vintage vehicles part exchange. To arrange a viewing of for further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
