A very fine example of the 4" Burrell Road Loco, built to the popular LSM design it is fitted with the longer boiler (normally used on showmans) which makes for a handsome engine especially in the unusual but suited colour scheme. The Traction Trailer is from Steam Traction World and been well put together and finished.

The engine is built to a high standard throughout and is ready to rally and enjoy, completed in 2013 it spent a couple of years with the builder before being sold in 2016 to the current owner, a retired engineer with an enviable home workshop, it has been meticulously maintained since.

The boiler was manufactured by Bell Boilers and comes with all the relevant CE marking and paperwork, water feed is though the crankshaft driven pump and steam injector. With the large boiler it steams freely and is very easy to get along with.

The 3 speed gearing allows for an impressive turn of speed on the road with it eating up the miles effortlessly. Although quite an imposing machine it is gentle to drive and easy to get along with so pottering around the rally field is no hardship either.

As well as the traction trailer two additional driving trolleys are included in the sale a single and a double, both are fixed to the rear of the engine and on swivel wheels. Coal, oil, firing irons and a days tuition are also included. Should the new owner not require the Traction Trailer the price will be adjusted accordingly.
