A unique and beautifully presented example of a Foden OG.

Originally supplied by S.A. Satterthwaite Ltd to a fruit and vegetable company the lorry was taken back after only a few months due to lack of payment. Rather than re-selling, Satterthwaites kept it for their own purposes and converted it to a recovery truck, the form it has stayed since. The original paintwork carry's a lovely patina, as such the lorry receives much attention and compliments when shown.

Very well sorted mechanically, the Gardner 4LK engine fires up quickly and pulls well. The gearbox has been fully reconditioned and a new clutch has also been fitted in recent years. The brakes have been fully overhauled with many new, original spec parts used.

The OG is a rare lorry and this is probably the only one still in its original working livery. It has been a reliable performer appearing at many shows throughout the year.
