3" Marshall T.E

We are pleased to offer for sale this well built Marshall “Pride of the Road”, presented in working clothes she is very good mechanically having had a top end rebuild in recent years.

We don’t see these engines very often, in fact this is only the second we have had in. They come out a large and powerful machine more than capable of a day's work running around the rally field and with a quite a good turn of speed in top gear for the evening road run.

The engine is fitted with a steel boiler which has just undergone a full ten-year inspection and hydraulic with an independent boiler inspector, water feed is through a crank driven pump and steam injector. Being slightly larger than the more common 3” Burrell she is an easier engine to steam and manage and is that bit more forgiving due to the extra boiler capacity.

The Marshall comes ready to rally with a driving trolley, firing irons, coal, oil and tuition included. As always we are happy to consider part exchange of all steam and vintage vehicles.
