9" Tasker Steam Tractor

On behalf of the owners we are pleased to offer for sale this well cared for and sorted 9” Tasker Steam Tractor. Weighing in around 2.6 tons the Tasker is the largest miniature traction engine you can move around with a 4x4 and trailer making transport to shows a much easier (and cheaper) task than other 9” Scale engines.

Built in 2017 by Dream Machines it has undergone several modifications and improvements over the years and the end result is an impressive and well-mannered engine. On the road and rally field it is an easy engine to handle with plenty of power and a good turn of speed in top gear. The large and closely spaced side steps make getting on and off the engine very easy, its not something I normally think about but for someone with mobility issues it could be a great alternative to clambering up a full size or straddling a smaller miniature.

The elephant in the room with these is they are built by a factory in India and with that come some misplaced assumptions, I would genuinely recommend anyone who may be interested in this engine to come and view it to make their own opinions. You get a lot of engine for the money and when you get one as well sorted as this one we believe buyers will be impressed, as we were, with it.

The CE marked boiler comes with all the relevant material certificates and has been independently tested by respected boiler inspectors. It will come with a fresh annual steam test for the new owner. The boiler runs at 150psi, water feed is through a reliable steam injector and crank shaft driven pump.

As with all our ready to use engines, it will come with everything you need to rally including a full set of firing irons, coal oil and a days tuition included.
