On behalf of the owners we are pleased to advertise for sale this well presented and nicely restored living van. The body of the van originates from the early 1900s and was one of a number built for accomodation on timber and forestry work used in a similar fashion to a shepherds hut.
The body was married to a more modern chassis and wheels for use in preservation and sits nicely behinds traction engines but can also be towed at higher speeds if required so could also suit an early vintage lorry. The van is bigger than a normal roller style living van so offers comfortable accomodation with the useful bathroom space, large kitchen area with stove and plenty of storage.
Restored to a high standard the living van is ready to use and enjoy, since completion it has been stored in a dry barn when not in use. Included in the sale is some documented history and photographs of its history.
