A very well made Traction Engine/Steam Roller Trailer to suit a large 6" or smaller full size engine.

The large load space is enclosed by a front seating box, and convenient hinged-drop panels on the rear and sides. The seat box doubles up as a secure storage area and houses the battery for the rear flashing beacon. The tarp is getting a bit tired but a few minor repairs will see it last a few more years.

The underslung stainless steel water tank carries approx  250 liters and is filled via 2" fill points at either side, the tank is also equipped with a level gauge, drain tap and feed pipe to the engine.

The brakes on the front wheels are operated via a handle that can be reached while sat on the engine.

Overall a very well thought out trailer that has proven itself a useful asset when using an engine on the road. It has carried us to and from the pub on more than one occasion!

 

Available separately is a 4 wheel flatbed car trailer which was used to move the roading trailer when not behind a steam engine. This is just over a year old and as you would expect is in great condition. The load area is 8' x 6'. Priced at just £1500 it offers a considerable saving from new.
