Brilliant on the road a rally field, these 3 Speed Burrell Double Crank Compound Road Locos from Steam Traction World are great all round engines. A number of examples successfully completed the NTET 60th Road run, a route of over 25 miles. One owner has even undertaken some truly epic runs including a 120 mile run from Hertfordshire to Dorset Steam Fair in aid of Parkinson's UK.

Since completion this Burrell has been well looked after and over the years has proven to be a very reliable engine. The traditional paint scheme and sign-writing has mellowed nicely and really sets it apart from other miniatures. It is fitted with a comfortable double driving seat and also comes with a set of firing irons. Please note the steam siren will be removed before sale.

The boiler has been examined by a well respected independent inspector, the boiler reports show very little wastage and the tubes to be in good condition. As per the normal arrangement the boiler is water fed by a crankshaft driven pump and stem injector.

Although nothing is currently required, for owners without workshop facilities you have the piece of mind that virtually all the spares are available off the shelf  from Steam Traction World.
